When a company files an annual return, it ensures the company information is up to date. Failure to file an annual return can result in late fees and removal from the register, which can impact on the company's ability to do business.
Overseas companies which show evidence of carrying on business in Solomon Islands have been loaded into the system.
The first guidance note, on restoration of companies who have failed to re-register has been issued. The Registrar may issue guidance on various matters from time to time. Details are found here.
If you aren't comfortable with the internet or the Company Haus website, come to Company Haus on Mendana Ave in front of the immigration office. There is a computer terminal with internet access - and Company Haus staff will happily assist you get your company registered or re-registered.
